At BIG SIS Inc., transitional housing is about more than having a roof overhead. Our homes provide women, young adults, mothers and families with a safe place to stabilize while building the skills, resources, and confidence needed for lasting independence.
Each BIG SIS home is designed for a specific season of life, from pregnancy and early motherhood to aging out of foster care, rebuilding after incarceration, or transitioning after military service. While every home is different, they share one goal: helping residents move from instability to independence with support, dignity, and community.
Shia's House
Supporting Single Mothers & Their Children

Shia’s House provides transitional housing for single mothers and their children who are working toward greater stability and independence. Families have a safe, supportive place to call home while mothers receive individualized support, life skills development, parenting resources, and assistance working toward education, employment, financial stability, and permanent housing.

Supporting Young Women Aging Out of Foster Care

Netta’s House provides transitional living and supportive services for young women aging out of foster care. In a structured, supportive environment, residents develop practical life skills, pursue education and employment goals, build financial independence, and prepare for successful independent adulthood.
LiLi's Project
Supporting Pregnant Women & New Mothers

LiLi’s Project provides safe, supportive transitional housing for pregnant women through pregnancy and the early postpartum period. Residents are connected with maternal health resources, parenting preparation, life skills, emotional support, and individualized guidance designed to help both mother and baby begin their next chapter from a place of greater stability.

Relle’s House provides a nurturing transitional home for pregnant and parenting young women aging out of foster care. Residents receive support as they navigate two major transitions at once — building independent adult lives while becoming mothers.
Through parenting support, education and employment assistance, life skills development, financial education, and individualized guidance, Relle’s House helps young mothers create a stable foundation for themselves and their children.
Zoe's House
Supporting Women Veterans
Zoe’s House provides transitional housing for women veterans experiencing housing instability or navigating a major life transition after military service. Residents receive individualized support focused on stability, wellness, employment, financial independence, community connection, and the transition to permanent housing.
Zoe’s House creates a supportive environment where women who have served can focus on building what comes next.
RECLAIM House
Supporting Women Returning Home from Incarceration & Their Children
Reintegrating, Educating & Cultivating the Lives of Adolescents, Individuals and Mothers.
RECLAIM House provides transitional housing for women returning home from incarceration, together with their children. Residents receive hands-on support as they rebuild their lives, reconnect with their families, and work toward long-term stability.
Through employment and education assistance, life skills development, parenting and family reunification support, resource navigation, and individualized guidance, RECLAIM House helps women move forward while restoring their roles within their families and communities.
